Strategic Agenda on Standardization for Cyber-Physical Systems

On May 10th, 2017, the European project CP-SETIS published the Strategic Agenda on Standardization for Cyber-Physical Systems. The agenda summarizes the results of the European Support Action ProSE ("Promoting Standardization for Embedded Systems", FP7, contract no. 224213) and CP-SETIS (Towards Cyber-Physical Systems Engineering Tools Interoperability Standardization, grant agreement no. 645149).

The area of development tools and platforms for Embedded Systems and Cyber-Physical Systems (CPS) is highly specialized. In order to enable seamless data exchange and data extraction of different tools and platforms, the IOS has been the basis for an open standard for the interoperability of engineering development tools and environments in heterogeneous systems. The IOS has been developed in former and ongoing EU research projects.

A detailed description of the standardization of a multi-standard using the example of the IOS was published in the framework of CP-SETIS in the Strategic Agenda for Standardization for Cyber-Physical Systems.
