The automotive industry faces great challenges. On the one hand, it must find the right answers to the major social and economic changes – such as climate change, demographic change, urbanisation, globalisation, management of scarce resources, changed mobility behaviour and digital society - and adapt their products and services accordingly. The Automotive Roadmap Embedded Systems was released on September 22nd at the IAA 2015. The roadmap is published by the German Informatics Society (GI), SafeTRANS and the Verband der Automobilindustrie (VDA).
